Savanna Wright, born in Santa Cruz, CA, grew up on the East Coast. From her first gig at age 15— selling produce at a farm stand in Poughkeepsie, NY—to a career at such esteemed restaurants as Obelisk Trattoria in Washington, DC and Gramercy Tavern in NYC, food and wine have been her lifelong passion.

Having secured a harvest internship at Failla for the 2010 harvest, Savanna instantly found a home among the passionate folks who farm and make wine here. Savanna spends her free time cooking, knitting, playing guitar really, really badly, and occasionally singing along to her own bad guitar tunes…
