This site lies in the northern most reaches of Sonoma County and all three acres are exclusively sold to Failla.
— The Pinot File, February 2014

First planted in 2003 by Stig Hansen and Jennifer Whistler, the three acres of Pinot Noir grapes from this vineyard are sourced exclusively for Failla Wines.

A naturally low-vigor site, Ehren first spied this vineyard out the window of his plane as he flew over - noting that it was the northern-most vineyard site within the Sonoma Coast AVA.  Notable elements include the focused 'doughnut effect' of sunshine that hits the vines each day.

Planted to three clones of Pinot Noir and sitting around 800 feet elevation, Whistler Vineyard has over the years produced small but expressive crops that resonate the cool climate in which it is planted.
